Danielle Merola
Bio
Danielle L. Merola is counsel in BakerHostetler’s Orlando, Fla., office, where she concentrates her practice on commercial bankruptcy, financial restructuring and commercial litigation. She represents debtors, creditors, trustees, committees, asset-sellers and asset-purchasers in bankruptcy and commercial cases throughout the country. Prior to joining BakerHostetler, Ms. Merola clerked for Hon. Karen S. Jennemann in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida in Orlando. During her clerkship, she was the head writer on the Procedure Manual Committee and drafted and edited district-wide procedures consistent with the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure, the Bankruptcy Code and local practices. Ms. Merola is an at-large director of IWIRC Florida and a member of ABI (for which she served on its International Caribbean Insolvency Symposium Advisory Board), the Central Florida Bankruptcy Law Association, The Florida Bar, the Orange County Bar Association and the Turnaround Management Association. She received her B.A. cum laude in 2012 from the University of Central Florida, and her J.D. magna cum laude in 2015 from Stetson University College of Law, where she served as articles and symposia editor of the Stetson Law Review.
