Keith R. Murphy

Keith R. Murphy is a partner with BakerHostetler in New York and concentrates on corporate reorganization, bankruptcy, litigation, fiduciary representations and creditors’ rights. He also has experience representing trustees in brokerage house liquidation proceedings commenced by the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC), and in representing court-appointed receivers in investment-fraud proceedings initiated by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Commodities Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). Mr. Murphy’s represents clients across such industries as manufacturing, retail, aerospace, steel and health care. He received his B.A. in 1991 from the State University of New York at Albany and his J.D. in 1996 from St. John’s University School of Law, where he served as an editor of the ABI Law Review.
