Sherry D. Coley
Bio
Sherry D. Coley is a member of Davis & Kuelthau, s.c.'s Litigation Team in its Green Bay, Wis., of- fice, where her practice primarily focuses on complex business litigation, with an emphasis on contract disputes, business torts, financial services litigation, real estate foreclosures and workouts, and tax- assessment appeals. She has represented financial institutions in state and federal court on a variety of commercial lending disputes, including defense of counterclaims raised in response to foreclosure or deficiency actions, and disputes arising from insolvent borrowers, including proceedings in bankruptcy court. In addition, she has defended manufacturers in product-liability actions involving personal injury, wrongful death and property damage. Ms. Coley has significant trial experience in both state and federal courts and jury trials. She has represented clients in appeals pending in the state appellate courts of Wis- consin and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Ms. Coley is admitted to practice in Geor- gia and Wisconsin and before the Seventh Circuit Court and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin. She is a member of the Brown County Bar Association the Outagamie County Bar Association, the Eastern District Bar Association and the Seventh Circuit Bar Association, as well as the Defense Research Institute (DRI). She is also a member of the American Bar Association's Product Liability Committee and secretary of the Wisconsin State Bar's Board of Governors (2014-pres- ent). Ms. Coley received her Bachelor's degree magna cum laude with honors from Drake University and her J.D. from Marquette University Law School.
