Alexander Berry-Santoro

Alexander “Al” J. Berry-Santoro is a managing attorney at Maxwell Dunn, PLC in Westland, Mich., and has operated in the areas of insolvency and debtor and creditor rights, general business law, and real estate law since 2017. He has served on the board of Directors for the Consumer Bankruptcy Association of Detroit since 2022, and in 2023 the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys appointed him to the editorial board for its nationally published law journal. Additionally, Mr. Berry-Santoro is a member of a legislative committee that aided in drafting legislative amendments to the Michigan Bankruptcy Exemptions, and he has given testimony as a subject-matter specialist in that capacity. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and ABI, and he is admitted to practice in Michigan and before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of Michigan and the Northern District of Ohio. Mr. Berry-Santoro received his B.S. in criminal justice from Eastern Michigan University in 2012 and his J.D in 2016 from Thomas M. Cooley Law School.
