Alexis A. Leventhal

Alexis A. Leventhal is counsel at Campbell & Levine, LLP in Pittsburgh, where she represents and advises corporate clients on bankruptcy and other insolvency matters as well as issues arising under Arts. 2, 2A, and 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code. Her practice covers financial services, commercial litigation, distressed investing, lease and loan transactions, and special situations of restructuring and insolvency both in and out of state and federal courts. Prior to joining Campbell & Levine in 2025, Ms. Leventhal represented corporate lenders and lessors in and out of court on a nationwide basis for an international law firm, and before that, she clerked for Hon. Carlota M. Böhm, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and Hon. Arthur B. Briskman, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge for the Middle District of Florida. She is an NCBJ Next Gen Participant, Class of 2022, and a finalist for IWIRC’s 2019 Rising Star Award. Ms. Leventhal is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association’s Bankruptcy and Commercial Law Section, and she serves on the board of the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation’s (IWIRC’s) Western Pennsylvania Network. In addition, she chaired the Outreach Committee of The Judith K. Fitzgerald Western Pennsylvania Bankruptcy American Inn of Court from 2017-18, she is a member of ABI, and she served on The American Inns of Court Program Awards Committee from 2018-20. Ms. Leventhal received her B.A. in 2007 in the growth and structure of cities from Haverford College, her Master’s degree summa cum laude in urban and regional planning in 2010 from the University of New Orleans, and her J.D. cum laude in 2013 from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she served on the Journal of Law and Public Policy and was a member of the International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court Team.
