Prof. Avv Antonio Tullio is a legal consultant in international, corporate and bankruptcy law with Tullio & Partners in Modena, Italy, where he focuses on the drafting of agreements and commercial litigation for international business groups and banks, and as an arbitrator appointed by the parties or authorized bodies. He is a member of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) and a member of the board at the bank Cassa di Risparmio in Bologna (Carisbo) of Banca Intesa San- paolo Group S.p.A. Prof. Tullio has been a trustee in numerous and complex bankruptcies and a temporary receiver in compositions with creditors for mechanical, ceramic tile, automotive, fashion and food companies. In addition, he is in charge/a manager for private-equity and merchant bank funds for leverage operations, acquisition/transfer of shares and extraordinary operations, as well as companies and banks undergoing corporate restructuring. He is also a legal advisor of bank institutions for important corporate restructuring operations. Prof. Tullio has been a Professor of Private Law of the Faculty of Law at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, where he holds tenure in Private Law I, Private Law II and Land Law, and a Professor of Private Law in the Professional Specialist Program at the University of Law of Modena e Reggio Emilia, as well as a professor of civil law for police officers at the Military Academy of Modena. He graduated summa cum laude in law at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia in 1990 and has been admitted to practice before the Court of Cassation since 1993.
