Bruce H. White is a shareholder with Parsons Behle & Latimer in Salt Lake City and concentrates his practice on all aspects of corporate law, business transactions, corporate financing and corporate reorga- nizations. He has 25 years of large law firm and business experience representing clients in a wide range of corporate law matters, including asset sales and purchases, corporate governance, financing, busi- ness reorganizations, acquisitions, contracts, creditors' rights, and chapter 7 and 11 bankruptcy cases. Mr. White has substantial experience advising company management and boards of directors on a wide range of corporate governance and fiduciary duty matters. He has negotiated and prepared all types of contracts and settlement agreements and analyzed complex true sale and nonconsolidation issues and prepared related legal opinions. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. White was president, CEO and general counsel of a large manufacturing company in Utah, where he led all aspects of the company, including operations, strategic planning, financial matters and sales. He oversaw all legal matters and transac- tions, and created and developed a successful business model. He was also prevously a shareholder with Greenberg Traurig and a partner with Patton Boggs, both in Dallas. Mr. White is admitted to practice in Utah, Texas, Colorado, the District of Columbia and Nebraska, and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America for Bankruptcy and Creditor/ Debtor Rights/Insolvency and Reorganization Law, and for Litigation - Bankruptcy, and he was named "Lawyer of the Year" Dallas for Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights/Insolvency and Reorganization Law in 2013. Mr. White received his B.S. in 1985 from Utah State University and his J.D. in 1989 from Creighton University Law School.
