Cynthia R. Ravosa
Bio
Cynthia R. Ravosa is the managing attorney of Ravosa Law Offices, P.C. in Natick, Mass., and of its Bankruptcy practice. As a former financial controller for Temple Israel in Boston, she combines her accounting experience with legal advocacy to leverage optimal results for her clients in complex chapter 11 cases, and she handles chapter 7 and chapter 13 cases. Ms. Ravosa is admitted to the practice of law in Massachusetts and is a member of the Hampden, Boston and Worcester Bar Associations. She also is a member of the National Consumer Bankruptcy Association, ABI and the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation. Ms. Ravosa is a volunteer lawyer for the Massachusetts Debt Relief Foundation (MDRF), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and public charity founded in 2011 that assists low-income individuals with consumer debt issues, including representing them in chapter 7 bankruptcy proceedings pro bono. She has been named a Top Lawyer in Bankruptcy by Boston Magazine and has been recognized as a “Rising Star” in Super Lawyers since 2022. She co-chairs the Boston Bar Association’s Consumer Bankruptcy Committee. Ms. Ravosa received her B.A. from Western New England College, her M.B.A. with a concentration in accounting from Suffolk University, and her J.D. from the the Massachusetts School of Law at Andover in 2016.
