Bio

Daniel A. Bloom is counsel in the Bankruptcy & Corporate Restructuring Group at Riker Danzig LLP in Morristown, N.J., where he represents debtors and secured and unsecured creditors’ committees, indenture trustees, bondholders, trade creditors, landlords and other key stakeholders in bankruptcy and corporate restructuring matters. Prior to joining the firm, he practiced bankruptcy and restructuring at Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP and Kaye Scholer LLP and served as staff counsel for UJA‑Federation of New York, and he was a summer law clerk to Hon. Allan L. Gropper of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York and served as ADR editor of the Fordham Urban Law Journal. Mr. Bloom co-chairs the Partnerships and Outreach Subcommittee of the Jewish Bar Association of New Jersey and is an elected member of the Democratic Committee of Bergen County. He received his B.A. in economics cum laude from Yeshiva University and his J.D. cum laude from Fordham University School of Law.
