Douglas E. Himmel is a founder of and managing partner at Melville Capital, LLC in Pacific Palisades, Calif., a life settlement advisor and broker focused on maximizing the value of existing life insurance policies in the secondary market. He has more than 25 years of experience in financial services, lending and life insurance. Mr. Himmel is a member of ABI and the Turnaround Management Association, Association for Corporate Growth, Financial Planners Association and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. He is a frequent speaker and writer. Mr. Himmel holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses, and is licensed as a Life Agent/Life Settlement Broker in numerous states. He received his B.A. in political science and finance from the University of Arizona.
