Bio
Edward M. Burr, CTP, CIRA is the founder and managing director of Mac Restructuring Advisors,LLC in Phoenix. He has more than 30 years of corporate restructuring experience and has served as a financial and restructuring expert to both debtors and creditors. Mr. Burr has testified in federal bankruptcy court on a variety of issues, including feasibility matters, cramdown interest rates, § 1111(b)election issues, business valuation and many more. He is a nationally recognized expert, particularly on feasibility and cramdown interest rate matters. In addition, he is a subchapter V trustee for Regions 14and 17. Mr. Burr has served as a state court-appointed receiver on more than 60 matters and has been appointed as a chapter 11 bankruptcy trustee. He also has served as interim CEO, CFO and an independent board member. Mr. Burr received his B.A. in biochemistry from the University of Colorado at Boulder, his B.S. in finance from Arizona State University and his M.B.A. from Arizona State University.
