Hon. O. Rogeriee Thompson
Bio
Hon. O. Rogeriee Thompson is a First Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals judge in Boston. She was appointed in March 2010 and assumed senior status on Sept. 21, 2022. Judge Thompson previously worked as a staff attorney at Rhode Island Legal Services from 1976-79. From 1979-88, she worked in private practice, and she served as an assistant city solicitor in Providence, R.I., from 1980-82. Judge Thompson served as a judge on the Rhode Island District Court from 1988-97, and as a Justice on the Rhode Island Superior Court from 1997-2010. She received her undergraduate degree from Brown University in 1973 and her J.D. from Boston University School of Law in 1976.
