James E. DeLine

James E. DeLine is a member of Kerr, Russell and Weber, PLC in Detroit and has experience in all phases of state and federal litigation, as well as domestic and international arbitrations. He regularly counsels clients in contract and UCC matters, automotive supply chain disputes, injunctions, business torts, shareholder rights, creditor’s rights, product-liability claims and appeals. Mr. DeLine recently earned one of the largest annual verdicts in Michigan while representing an international automobile distributor against a global automobile manufacturer, resolved a multi-million dollar contract dispute on behalf of a family-owned manufacturer against a global automotive supplier, and defeated a $48 million breach-of-contract and fraud claim in an arbitration between foreign and domestic manufacturers. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. DeLine received hisB.A. from the University of Michigan and his J.D. from Wayne State University Law School, where he was on the Wayne Law Review and the Moot Court National Team.
