Bio
James T. Young is a partner with the Indianapolis law firm of Rubin & Levin, P.C., where he practices in the areas of creditors' rights, bankruptcy and commercial litigation. He previously clerked for Hon. John W. Montgomery, circuit court judge of St. Joseph County, Ind. Mr. Young was selected as an Indiana Super Lawyer for 2012-16 and has spoken before the Indianapolis Bar Association, the Allen County Bar Association, the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum, the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees, the National Business Institute and the Institute for Paralegal Education on bankruptcy, landlord/tenant, real estate and trademark issues. In addition, he chaired the Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights Section of the Allen County Bar Association from 2000-02. Mr. Young has served periodically as a guest lecturer at the Indiana University School of Informatics in Indianapolis. He is a member of the Indianapolis, Indiana State and American Bar Associations, as well as the State Bar of Michigan, and he is admitted to practice in Indiana, Michigan, Tennessee, the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Sixth and the Seventh Circuits, and the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Young received his B.S., M.B.A. and J.D. from Indiana University at Bloomington.
