Bio
Jane Sullivan is executive vice president of Epiq’s Corporate Restructuring Division in New York and is involved in a host of client assignments. She has specialized in bankruptcy balloting and other re- structuring assignments since 1991, and continues to be instrumental in developing and implementing the solicitation procedures utilized in cases with public securities and special balloting and distribution needs. Before joining Epiq in 2004, she held positions with Innisfree M&A, The Altman Group, Hill and Knowlton and Georgeson. Ms. Sullivan has handled hundreds of bankruptcy solicitations, many of which have involved a large number of securities — including CIT, Enron, Lehman, Motors Liquidation and many others — and helped to develop solicitation procedures for cases in the early 1990s that are still widely used today. She is also instrumental in facilitating plan distributions and treatment elections, as well as tender and exchange offers via DTC’s ATOP system. Her approach includes determining the requirements of the issuer’s transaction, as well as an in-depth understanding of DTC’s procedures and the inner workings of bank and broker back-office mechanics. She crafts procedures and supporting documents that are workable both for the requirements of the transaction and the parties who will be processing them. Ms. Sullivan is a member of ABI and the International Women’s Insolvency and Re- structuring Confederation.
