Keith Patrick Banner is a partner at Greenberg Glusker Fields Claman & Machtinger LLP in Los Angeles, where he focuses his practice on business insolvency and distressed transactions across industries including retail, entertainment, technology and real estate. He guides distressed companies through the full range of insolvency solutions, from out-of-court workouts such as refinancings and assignments for the benefit of creditors (ABCs) to chapter 11 reorganizations and chapter 7 liquidations. Mr. Banner also represents chapter 11 and chapter 7 trustees in complex investigations, asset sales and contested litigation, and is experienced in bankruptcy-related litigation, including fraudulent transfer and preference recovery actions. He has been recognized in Chambers USA as a Leading Lawyer in Bankruptcy/Restructuring from 2022-26. Prior to joining Greenberg Glusker, Mr. Banner clerked for Hon. Peter H. Carroll in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California. He received his B.A. summa cum laude in 2005 in political science from the University of California, Los Angeles, and his J.D. cum laude in 2008 from Northwestern University School of Law.
