Mr. Charles R. Goldstein

Charles R. Goldstein , CPA, CIRA, CFF is a managing director with Protiviti Inc. in Baltimore and leads the company's Restructuring & Litigation Services Practice. He has more than 20 years of ex- perience providing financial consulting and expert testimony in a variety of areas, including corporate restructuring, bankruptcy consulting, financial investigations and commercial litigation. Mr. Goldstein provides turnaround, crisis-management and bankruptcy services to companies and their constituents, including secured and unsecured creditors, federal and state fiduciaries, and other interested parties. In addition, he has provided financial expert witness testimony, including testimony regarding valuation of business assets, solvency and forensic investigations, in a number of U.S. bankruptcy and district courts. Mr. Goldstein has served as chief restructuring officer, trustee, examiner and plan administra- tor in a variety of chapter 7 and 11 cases, as well as a state court receiver. He is a member of several organizations, including the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors, ABI, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Goldstein is a frequent lecturer on financial and consulting matters related to financial distress. He received his B.A. in economics and his M.B.A. and J.D. from the University of Maryland.
