Mr. Duane H. Gillman

Duane H. Gillman is a shareholder in the law firm of Durham Jones & Pinegar in Salt Lake City, where his areas of practice include business and personal reorganization, bankruptcy litigation, creditors' rights, trustee and receiver representation. He has distributed more than $90 million to creditors and other par- ties in interest as a trustee in chapter 7, 11, 12 and 13 cases. He also has represented the prevailing parties in more than 60 published bankruptcy-related opinions. AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell, Mr. Gillman is a member of the Utah State Bar, ABI, the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees, the American Association for Justice and the Utah Bankruptcy Lawyer's Forum. He is also the chapter 12 trustee for Utah and a contributing author to Wiley Bankruptcy Law Update. He lectures on bankruptcy at various CLE seminars and the University of Utah Law School and teaches a personal finance class as part of a life skills program at the Salt Lake County Jail. Mr. Gillman received his B.S. and M.S. in mathematics and his J.D. from the University of Utah.
