Mr. Duston K. McFaul

Duston K. McFaul is a partner with Sidley Austin LLP in Houston, where he primarily advises cli- ents through complex restructurings, negotiated workouts and all forms of contested proceedings. He counsels a wide range of clients, including creditors, debtors, buyers and lenders, on transactions, and has prosecuted and defended a full array of matters based on alleged breaches, business torts, priority, contested sales, valuation, fraudulent transfer, lifting of stay, rejection/assumption, conversion, fiduciary duties, tortious interference, cramdown and transactional issues. Mr. McFaul has been listed in Cham- bers USA for Bankruptcy/Restructuring Law practice from 2013-15, The Legal 500 US in the area of Corporate Restructuring from 2013-15, The Best Lawyers in America in the categories of Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights from 2010-16 and Litigationâ??Bankruptcy from 2011-16, Texas Super Law- yers for 2013 and as a Super Lawyers "Rising Star" for 2005-06 and 2008-10). He received his A.B. in 1993 with honors from Duke University and his J.D. in 1997 from the University of Texas School of Law.
