Bio
Franklind D. Lea, CIRA, CTP is president of Tactical Financial Consulting in Alpharetta, Ga., and has more than 30 years of experience in commercial credit and lending, valuation, financial consulting and corporate governance. He is regularly engaged by businesses, government entities, mediators, legal teams, creditors, debtors and corporate boards that are seeking independent, high-stakes analysis in restructuring, litigation and governance matters. Mr. Lea frequently provides expert testimony on the issues he evaluates, including solvency, feasibility, damages, valuation and financial performance. His work often includes advising company leadership and boards on fiduciary duties, oversight in distressed environments, and the governance implications of strategic alternatives. Mr. Lea serves on ABI’s Board of Directors oand previously served on its Executive Committee, Nominating Committee, Education Committee, Investment Committee and Finance Committee. He also is a former co-chair of ABI’s Asset Sales Committee and Financial Advisors and Investment Banking Committee, and he has served on the advisory boards for the Hon. Alexander L. Paskay Memorial Bankruptcy Seminar and the ABI Real Estate Symposium. Mr. Lea is an active member of the Turnaround Management Association and the Association for Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors, and he is a frequent speaker and published author on restructuring, valuation and board-level governance issues. He received his B.S. in management and his M.B.A. from Florida State University, and a Master’s degree in real estate and urban analysis from the University of Florida.
