Harvey Sender is a shareholder with Sender Wasserman Wadsworth, P.C. in Denver, where he special- izes in bankruptcy, commercial litigation, and chapter 7 and 11 and trustee issues. He has represented numerous companies as debtors in possession in chapter 11, as well as various unsecured creditors' com- mittees in both bankruptcy issues and complex commercial litigation. Mr. Sender has served as chapter 7 trustee for more than 35,000 cases, and since 1984 has served as the panel trustee for the U.S. Bank- ruptcy Appellate Panel and has been appointed a trustee or receiver in numerous fraud and ponzi scheme cases. Mr. Sender has represented ,numerous companies as debtors in possession in chapter 11, as well as various unsecured creditors committees in complex bankruptcy litigation involving valuation and confirmation issues. He has also been qualified as an expert witness before various courts in the areas of bankruptcy law and reasonableness of attorney fees. Mr. Sender has extensive experience in mechanic's lien disputes and construction issues, representing design professionals in disputes over negligent con- struction and design, principally in the areas of engineering, survey and architecture. He also represents material suppliers in mechanic's lien matters and disputes over the quality of the material delivered to the project. In addition to being a member of the State Bar of Colorado, Mr. Sender is admitted to the State Bar and U.S. District Court of New Mexico and the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is also a member of the Colorado Bar Association and the New Mexico State Bar Association. Mr. Sender received his B.A. cum laude from New York University in 1972 and his J.D. from Georgetown University School of Law in 1975.
