Mr. James W. Fox

James W. Fox is a principal with GlassRatner Advisory & Capital Group LLC in New York and has more than 25 years of experience advising clients in the areas of bankruptcy and restructuring and merg- ers and acquisitions. His restructuring client engagements have involved advising debtors and credi- tors, turnaround/workout management consulting and financial restructuring. As a financial advisor, he has provided various valuation-related services (including solvency and fairness opinions, and straight valuations), served in diverse fiduciary roles (including as receiver), and testified as an expert witness numerous times. Prior to joining GlassRatner in 2011, Mr. Fox was a managing director and shareholder of a well-established restructuring firm. Previously, he held similar practice leadership roles at Pricewa- terhouseCoopers (Coopers & Lybrand predecessor) and a Wall Street merchant bank. In addition, he was in private industry with Kraft/General Foods and W.R. Grace & Co., and began his career as a Lieuten- ant in the U.S. Navy Supply Corps, serving in the Pacific Submarine Force. Mr. Fox is a member of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA), ABI, Commercial Finance Association and the Associa- tion for Corporate Growth. He was listed in Turnarounds & Workouts in its 2006 "People to Watch," and has spoken frequently on restructuring, M&A and valuation topics for the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), TMS and various commercial conference firms. Mr. Fox received his bachelor's degree from Amherst College and his M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
