Mr. John J. Cruciani

John J. Cruciani, CPA is a partner with the Kansas City, Mo., office of Husch Blackwell LLP, where he practices in the areas of bankruptcy, insolvency, creditors? rights and commercial litigation. He is the leader of its Insolvency & Commercial Bankruptcy team. He is licensed to practice in Kansas andMissouri, and he is Board Certified in Business and Consumer Bankruptcy Law by the American Board of Certification (ABC), also having previously served on its board of directors. Mr. Cruciani was a con-tributing author for the bankruptcy treatise Small Business Bankruptcy Reorganization (John Wiley &Sons Inc. 1994) and has published articles on bankruptcy matters for various publications. He has been a speaker for programs for the Midwestern Bankruptcy Institute and other organizations in the areas of bankruptcy and insolvency, and in 2018, he chaired the Midwestern Bankruptcy Institute?s advisory board. Mr. Cruciani has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America for Bankruptcy and Creditor/Debtor Rights/Insolvency and Reorganization Law since 2009, and was named the 2014, 2018 and 2020Lawyer of the Year in Kansas City for Bankruptcy and Creditor/Debtor Rights/Insolvency and Reorganization Law. In March 2019, he was inducted as a Fellow in the 30th class of the American College ofBankruptcy. Mr. Cruciani received his J.D. in 1994 from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law.
