
Mr. John M. Duck
John M. Duck is a partner in the New Orleans office of Adams and Reese LLP. He has more than 38years of experience representing financial institutions and other creditors in all aspects of creditors? rights litigation, primarily in the bankruptcy practice area. Mr. Duck?s clients have included creditors and lessors committees, bankruptcy trustees, bankruptcy court-appointed examiners and commercial chapter 11 debtors. His practice focuses on creditors? rights, loan workouts and restructuring, troubled-asset management and dispositions, bankruptcy proceedings, and related commercial and bankruptcy litigation. Mr. Duck has successfully confirmed many chapter 11 reorganization plans in various industries, ranging from oil and gas assets, marine operations, technology, commercial real estate and hospitality to franchising operations. He has successfully litigated numerous complicated cases involving fraud committed against lenders and creditors. Mr. Duck represents clients across the southeastern U.S.,where he is admitted to practice in numerous federal districts. He received his B.S. from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1977 and his J.D. from Tulane University Law School in 1980.
