Mr. Lucian Murley

Lucian B. Murley is a partner in the Bankruptcy and Restructuring Practice of Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr LLP in Wilmington, Del., where he represents debtors, official committees, and other estate fiduciaries in major bankruptcy and restructuring cases in Delaware. In addition, he regularly advises financially healthy businesses that find themselves creditors in bankruptcy cases or defendants in bankruptcy related litigation throughout the country. Mr. Murley is a frequent contributor to the ABI Journal and other legal periodicals, and was a co-author of the ABI?s A Practice Guide to Liquidation and Litigation\nTrusts. He also co-chairs ABI?s Financial Advisors Committee. Mr. Murley has been listed as a Delaware Super Lawyers ?Rising Star? and holds an AV-Preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubbell. Prior to his career as an attorney, he was a freelance orchestral musician and played with various orchestras and music ensembles in and around Philadelphia. Notably, he served as an orchestral percussionist for the rock band The Moody Blues on its 2000 East Coast Tour. Mr. Murley received his B.Mus. in 1998 from Northwestern University and his J.D. in 2004 from the University of Kentucky School of Law, where he was a managing editor of the Kentucky Law Journal and received its Outstanding Service Award.
