Mr. Marc Kish

Marc Kish is a partner with Harneys in its Litigation and Insolvency Department in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, and is an experienced litigator and advocate. He has been practicing in the Cayman Is- lands since 2008 and regularly advises IPs on complex insolvency matters, including issues of clawback and fraud under Cayman Islands law. Mr. Kish is currently acting for the liquidators of Saad Investments Finance Company (No. 5) Ltd., one of a handful of defendants to the on-going Saad litigation in which the plaintiff Saudi partnership is asserting proprietary claims over up to US$9.2bn in stolen assets. He has also acted in a number of other high-profile cases, including the long-running liquidation of the SPhinX group of companies, the liquidation of Laurus Master Fund, the controllership and liquidation of Monkton Insurance Service Ltd., a Cayman Islands insurance manager whose director was found guilty of defrauding its captive clients, and the litigation between Viktor Vekselberg and Brian Gilbertson con- cerning the rights to the FabergÂ? brand. Mr. Kish has served on several legislative subcommittees in the Cayman Islands and written numerous articles on prevailing topics of Cayman Islands law.
