
Mr. Marc S. Kirschner
Marc S. Kirschner is a senior managing director with Goldin Associates, LLC in New York and regularly acts as a fiduciary, advises clients on restructuring issues and serves in oversight roles. He has been an advisor and court-appointed trustee in major bankruptcy matters, including Refco, Le-Natures,Superior National and Yellowstone Mountain Club, often working with major alternative investment funds. Mr. Kirschner is the court-appointed plan administrator of Refco Capital Markets. He is currently serving as the post-confirmation trustee in the Millennium Health matter and litigation trustee of theTribune Litigation Trust. Before becoming a consultant, Mr. Kirschner was a managing director, COO and general counsel of Resurgence Asset Management LLC, a distressed-debt investment management company. He served on the boards of Spectrum Brands Holdings, Inc., where he was a member of the audit committee, governance committee and a special committee dealing with corporate acquisition issues, and he served on the boards of several companies in which Resurgence invested, and was the independent director of a receivables finance company during its out-of-court restructuring. Previously,Mr. Kirschner headed the bankruptcy and reorganization practice in the New York office of Jones Day, specializing in complex bankruptcy litigation and financing matters. He currently is a member of the trust advisory board of Washington Mutual Bank Liquidating Trust and is a board designee on its SpecialLitigation Committee. He is a Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy. Mr. Kirschner received his A.B. with distinction in economics from Dartmouth College and his J.D. cum laude from the University of Michigan.
