Mr. Nathan E. Curtis

Nathan E. Curtis is a senior court attorney and supervising attorney at Geraci Law L.L.C. in Chicago and has filed or reviewed more than 10,000 consumer bankruptcy cases in Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin. His duties include handling all court matters in the Northern District of Illinois Western Division, the detailed review of complicated chapter 7 and 13 matters and being primarily responsible for the firm?s bankruptcy appeals. Mr. Curtis has argued at the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals three times and has briefed two other appeals, one as an amicus. He also filed an amicus brief in the Supreme Court case City of Chicago v. Fulton. Mr. Curtis is involved in the firm?s in-house Continuing Legal Education program, and he has spoken at local, regional and national conferences on consumer bankruptcy matters. He received his under- graduate degree from the University of Illinois and his J.D. from the John Marshall Law School.
