
Ms. Heather A. LaSalle
Heather A. LaSalle is an associate in McGlinchey Stafford PLLC's Commercial Litigation section in New Orleans, where she focuses on bankruptcy, creditors' rights, commercial disputes and consumer finance litigation. Ms. LaSalle represents secured and unsecured creditors in consumer and commercial bankruptcy proceedings. Her practice includes lift-stay motions, objections to confirmation plans, reaf- firmation agreements, obtaining adequate protection orders, objecting to discharge, valuation hearings, adversary proceedings, defense of preferential transfer actions and defending sanctions motions. She also has experience with escrow and bankruptcy accounting issues. Ms. LaSalle is an ABI member and serves as co-chair on ABI's New Orleans Consumer Conference. She also sits on ABI's Southwest Bankruptcy Conference Advisory Board and is a member of ABI's Bankruptcy Litigation and Consumer Bankruptcy Committees. Ms. LaSalle is a member of the Louisiana Chapter of the International Wom- en's Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation. She received her B.A. and P.P.A. from Louisiana State University and her J.D. cum laude from Loyola Law School, where she was editor-in-chief of the Loyola Maritime Law Journal and received several academic awards.
