Ms. Kelly M. Hagan

Kelly M. Hagan is an attorney with Hagan Law Offices PLC in Traverse City, Mich., where she concentrates her practice in bankruptcy and insolvency law, and is a chapter 7 panel trustee for the Western District of Michigan. She has also served as a chapter 11 and liquidating trustee in Michigan and serves as a receiver and fiduciary in trust and estate matters. Ms. Hagan is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and Oregon State Bar. She previously served on the board of the National Association of Bankruptcy\nTrustees (2004-17; President, 2013-14) and as editor of NABT?s quarterly journal (2008-11). In the Western District of Michigan, she has served on the ADR Program Committee (2014-15, co-chair with Hon. James W. Boyd), Merit Selection Panel for the Bankruptcy Judgeships for the Western District of Michigan (2013) and Local Rules Committee (2010-11 and 2016 - present). She is Board Certified in Consumer Bankruptcy Law by the American Board of Certification and holds a Probate and Estate Plan-\nning Certificate from the State Bar of Michigan. Ms. Hagan received her B.A. in English literature and language in 1991 from the University of Michigan and her J.D. in 1995 from the University of Oregon School of Law.
