Ms. Sonya Lorge Levine

Sonya L. Levine is with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in Washington, D.C., where she currently oversees matters involving disputed asset and claims litigation between various bank receiver- ships and their bankrupt parent holding companies. Previously, she was in private practice as a bank- ruptcy lawyer in New York and Baltimore from 1986 until 2001, when she joined the U.S. Department of Labor as a trial attorney litigating issues under Title I of ERISA and bankruptcy law. Ms. Levine received her J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 1986 and her LL.M in corporate law from New York University School of Law in 1997.
