Patrick Venter
Bio
Patrick Venter is a senior managing associate in the New York office of Sidley Austin LLP, where his practice focuses his practice on advising large private and public companies, creditors and investors in highly complex restructuring transactions. Prior to joining Sidley, he was an associate at another top global law firm, where he coordinated chapter 11 restructurings for top communications, energy and retail companies. He also has experience advising clients on various out-of-court transactions, acquisitions and distressed investments. Mr. Venter received his B.S. cum laude in economics and international business in 2011 from Villanova University and his J.D. cum laude in 2016 from Boston College Law School, where he was managing editor of the Boston College Law Review.
