Bio

Randall Reese is a managing director with Stretto in Chicago and has more than 20 years of corporate restructuring experience, with a unique perspective on the role of technology and bankruptcy data. He plays a key role in developing Stretto’s solutions by integrating case information and research capabilities. By collaborating with the company’s expert team of case managers, Mr. Reese identifies ways to improve efficiency and streamline administrative processes. His significant corporate restructuring experience includes representing parties in such major cases as Delphi Corp., Delta Air Lines and Enron Corp. He also has served as an advisor to companies in the legal technology industry. Prior to joining Stretto, Mr. Reese in 2007 founded Restructuring Concepts LLC in Silicon Valley to build best-in-class research products specifically focused on complex corporate restructurings. The company’s flagship product — www.chapter11dockets.com — is widely used by leading legal and financial professionals, including law firms that act as lead debtor counsel in more than 70 percent of all large chapter 11 cases filed nationwide. He also served as a senior advisor to several companies, including a venture-backed financial technology startup with significant involvement in cryptocurrency-related transactions and a claims and noticing firm founded by industry veterans. Mr. Reese periodically serves as an advisor/consultant to legal, legal technology and financial technology companies on core business issues. He began his career as an associate in the Corporate Restructuring practice of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. Mr. Reese received his B.S. in business administration magna cum laude from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business, his M.B.A. from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley and his J.D. from The University of Chicago Law School.
