Raychelle A. Tasher
Bio
Raychelle A. Tasher is a partner in the Bankruptcy and Insolvency group in the Miami office of Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP. Prior to this role, she served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney, where she represented the U.S. and its agencies in bankruptcy and civil litigation matters. Ms. Tasher previously was an associate in the New York office of Kirkland & Elli, where she represented debtors in complex chapter 11 cases. She also clerked for Chief Bankruptcy Judge Kathy A. Surratt-States in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. Ms. Tasher is involved in several bar associations, including serving as a board member of the Bankruptcy Bar Association for the Southern District of Florida and the Wilkie D. Ferguson, Jr. Bar Association. For her commitment to public service, she has received numerous awards, including the Miami Dade County Bar Association’s Circle of Excellence Award for “Outstanding Public Service” and the National Bar Association’s “40 Under 40” Award. Ms. Tasher received her undergraduate degree magna cum laude from Florida A&M University and her J.D. from Florida A&M University College of Law.
