Dr. Sebastiaan Van Den Berg is a partner at RESOR in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, which specializes in cross-border restructuring and insolvency. His practice includes advising and litigating for companies/management, shareholders, creditors/noteholder committees and trustees on all insolvency or restructuring-related issues, such as out-of-court restructurings, WHOA and litigation with respect to valuation disputes. Dr. Van Den Berg holds master’s degrees in financial economics and law from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam. In 2013, he completed the executive master of M&A and valuation of the University of Groningen Business School. In 2019, he completed his Ph.D. dissertation on valuation in Dutch corporate and bankruptcy law at the University of Nibjmegen.
