Sharon M. Kopman

Sharon M. Kopman is a vice president at Oak Point Partners, LLC in Los Angeles, where she is responsible for originating remnant asset acquisition opportunities. She has more than 25 years of bankruptcy and employment-related legal experience. Ms. Kopman has spent the past five years as both in-house counsel and managing director, focusing on acquisitions and liquidations both nationally and internationally of various types of assets. A highly regarded speaker and panel member, she appears regularly at a wide range of events, including association panels, conferences and news broadcasts, and she is a prolific author. Ms. Kopman is a member of ABI, the Los Angeles Bankruptcy Forum and the Turnaround Management Association. She has served on the executive board and as the CRRC chair of TMA Global (2021), as a director on CARE Global’s board (2021), as a director on the Los Angeles Bankruptcy Forum Board (2021), and as a past president of the Southern California TMA Chapter (2019) and past co-chair of TMA NOW (2018). Ms. Kopman received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and her J.D. from Loyola Law School.
