Shelley Koon Abel
Bio
Shelley Koon Abel is the Bankruptcy Administrator for the Western District of North Carolina. Prior to her appointment in 2017, she was a partner with the firm Rayburn Cooper & Durham in Charlotte. Ms. Abel is certified as a specialist in business bankruptcy law by the North Carolina State Bar and the American Board of Certification. She is a double Tar Heel with undergraduate and law degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
