Ms. Kathleen A. Leavitt

Kathleen A. Leavitt is a chapter 13 trustee for the District of Nevada in Las Vegas, appointed in 1981. She also served as a chapter 7 panel trustee from 1981-92 and has administered numerous state district court receiverships and probate estates. Ms. Leavitt served on the Executive Board of Consumer Credit Counseling of Southern Nevada from 1995-2005. She is a past president of the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees (NACTT) and served as an officer for five years and as a member of its advisory\nboard for four years. Ms. Leavitt previously chaired the NACTT Liaison Committee to the Internal Revenue Service and the NACTT Bankruptcy Rules Committee, and she was the editor of the NACTT Quarterly from 1998-2009. In addition, she was a founding member of the board of directors for the NACTT Academy from 2007-13. Ms. Leavitt i=8599848571 a current member of ABI, NACTT and the NACTT Academy. She has written articles for bankruptcy publications such as the ABI Journal, and she\nhas been a presenter on numerous panels at ABI conferences, NACTT seminars, the Norton Bankruptcy\nLitigation Institute, and local and regional seminars. Ms. Leavitt received her undergraduate degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
