Mr. Bruce E. Strauss

Bruce E. Strauss is a partner with Merrick Baker & Strauss, P.C. in Kansas City, Mo., where he repre- sents creditors and debtors in bankruptcy proceedings and has served as a chapter 7 panel trustee since 1986 in the Western District of Missouri. He has practiced in commercial and bankruptcy matters in Kansas City since 1977 and was formerly a partner in the firm of Shockley Reid & Koger. Mr. Strauss is a frequent speaker regarding bankruptcy matters and has been appointed as a receiver in courts in Clay, Platte and Jackson counties. He has been named a Super Lawyer every year since 2007 and has been named as Best of the Bar by the Kansas City Business Journal. Mr. Strauss received his B.A. from Park College in 1970, his M.P.A. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1973 and his J.D. from its School of Law in 1977.
