
Mr. Daniel J. Ehrmann
Daniel Ehrmann is a research analyst at King Street Capital Management LP in New York. Prior to joining King Street in 2015, he was a managing director at Alvarez & Marsal, where for more than 15 years he specialized in advising troubled companies and creditors in distressed situations. He primarily acted as an interim manager with a focus on formulating and implementing business plans, forecasting and managing liquidity, developing and negotiating refinancing and reorganization plans, and working through cross-border insolvency issues. From 2008-15, Mr. Ehrmann acted as head of international and co-head of derivatives and was involved in the plan process of the Lehman Brothers estate. He also served as a member on the plan trustee board of MF Global from 2013-15. Prior to working at Alvarez & Marsal, Mr. Ehrmann was an associate at Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton specialized in mergers and acquisitions. He received his LL.M. from New York University School of Law in 1995, his Master's in business and economic law from Sorbonne Paris I University in 1994, and his J.D. in business law from Assas Paris II University in 1993.
