Mr. Geoffrey T. Raicht

Geoffrey T. Raicht is a partner in Proskauer's Business Solutions, Governance, Restructuring & Bank- ruptcy Group in New York, where his practice focuses on all aspects of restructurings, having repre- sented nearly every perspective over his career, including hedge funds, private-equity funds, debtors, directors, official creditors' committees, secured lenders, asset-purchasers and distressed-debt traders. He also has significant international experience representing debtors in cross-border proceedings, UK Administrators and foreign court-appointed liquidators of offshore funds, and has authored numerous articles on chapter 15 and China's bankruptcy laws. Previously, he served as a law clerk to Hon. Jeffry H. Gallet, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge for the Southern District of New York, from 1997-99. Mr. Raicht has been recognized by Legal 500 as one of the leading lawyers in his field. A frequent speaker and writer, he is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts of the Southern, Eastern and Northern Districts of New York. Mr. Raicht received both his B.A. in 1990 and M.P.A. in 1992 from New York University and his J.D. in 1997 from CUNY School of Law.
