Mr. Brad W. Hissing

Brad W. Hissing is a senior litigation attorney and practice leader of the Creditors' Rights and Bank- ruptcy Group at Kass Shuler, P.A. in Tampa, Fla., where he concentrates his practice on represent- ing secured lenders in consumer and commercial bankruptcy matters and related litigation, including court-ordered mediations. Mr. Hissing also represents unsecured creditors in dischargeability actions and transfer-avoidance actions. He has more than 20 years of experience in bankruptcy matters and has previously represented several chapter 7 trustees and numerous consumer debtors. Mr. Hissing is a frequent speaker on issues involving bankruptcy practice and procedure, particularly in regards to the representation of secured lenders in consumer cases. He is a member of the Florida Bar and the Hills- borough County Bar Association, and is an ABI member and a member of the Tampa Bay Bankruptcy Bar Association, for which he served as a director for several years. Mr. Hissing received his B.A. with honors from Emory University in 1987 and his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School in 1990.
