Mr. Mark T. Benedict

Mark T. Benedict is a partner with Husch Blackwell LLP in Kansas City, Mo., and has more than20 years of experience in the bankruptcy and insolvency field. He is a member of the firm?s Food and Agribusiness Strategic Business Unit and regularly represents clients in distressed mergers and acquisitions, including sales through bankruptcy. Over the last 15 years, Mr. Benedict has been extensively involved in the purchase and sale of grocery stores throughout the U.S., largely representing buyers in the industry. He also represents national banks and national asset-based lenders.Mr. Benedict began his career as a law clerk to Hon. Frank W. Koger, and has been with Husch Blackwell LLP for 21 years. He received his J.D. from Boston College Law School.
