Mr. C.J. Brown

C.J. Brown is a partner in the Restructuring and Special Situations Group at PJT Partners Inc. in New York. Previously, he was a senior managing director in Blackstone's Restructuring & Reorga- nization Group. Mr. Brown has nearly 15 years of experience related to valuation, restructuring and capital-raising transactions. He has provided services to debtors and creditors in numerous restruc- turings, including Ambac Financial Group, Inc., Allied Capital Corp., Ford Motor Co., GOL Linhas A�reas Inteligentes S.A, Hostess Brands, Inc., LightSquared, MBIA, Inc., Merisant Worldwide, Inc., NII, Odebrecht îleo e G�s S.A., OGX Petr�leo e G�s Participa�es S.A, Oi S.A., Residential Capital LLC, TerreStar Networks and Tonon Bioenergia S.A. Mr. Brown was named to The M&A Advisor's "40 Under 40" list in 2013. He holds Series 7 and Series 63 licenses. Mr. Brown received his M.B.A. with distinction from New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business in 2003.
