Mr. John C. Reed

John C. Reed is an attorney with Pletz and Reed, P.C. in Columbia, Mo., where he focuses his practice on chapters 7, 11, 12 and 13 and represents both debtors and creditors. He specializes in pre-bankruptcy planning, business law, commercial litigation and landlord/tenant representation. Mr. Reed is admitted to the Missouri Bar Association and before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri. Previously, he was the assistant Missouri attorney general from 1980-84. Mr. Reed holds an AV-Preem- inent Peer Review rating by Martindale-Hubbell and is a member of the Panel of Bankruptcy Trustees for the Western District of Missouri (1992-present), ABI and the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees. He received his B.S. in 1977 from Northeast Missouri State University and his J.D. in 1980 from the University of Columbia School of Law.
