Ms. Karen E. Evangelista

Karen E. Evangelista is president of Karen E. Evangelista, P.C. in Rochester, Mich., where she special- izes in bankruptcy law representing debtors and also serves as a chapter 7 bankruptcy trustee in cases before the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, Northern Division. Ms. Evange- lista is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and ABI, and was president of the Consumer Bankruptcy Association from 1998-2007. Named the Consumer Bankruptcy Association's 2012 Member of the Year, she is Board Certified in Consumer Bankruptcy Law by the American Board of Certification and has lectured on bankruptcy issues to various groups. Ms. Evangelista received her B.A. from Eastern Michigan University in 1977 and her J.D. from the University of Detroit in 1983.
