Mr. Malcolm Arthurs

Malcolm Arthurs is a senior barrister with Martin Kenney & Co. in Tortola, British Virgin Islands. He has nine years of experience and started his practice in Jamaica doing general commercial liti- gation at a leading firm. Upon moving to the British Virgin Islands in 2006, his practice shifted to cross-border insolvency litigation and fraud and asset recovery. Since joining Martin Kenney & Co. in 2010, Mr. Arthurs has been involved in a number of significant multi-jurisdictional cases in such jurisdictions as Cyprus, Lichtenstein, Switzerland, Slovakia, Russia, Ukraine, Brazil, Cayman, Be- lize, Dominica and Antigua. He is currently lead advocate for the joint liquidators of Stanford Inter- national Bank. Mr. Arthurs is admitted to practice in Jamaica, the British Virgin Islands, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Dominica, Antigua, St. Kitts and Nevis, and most recently Belize. He received his undergraduate degree in English and his law degree from the University of the West Indies, and he received his Certificate of Legal Education from the Norman Manley Law School.
