Mr. John H. Bae

John H. Bae is a member of the Bankruptcy, Restructuring and Commercial Law Practice De- partment at Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. in New York and is a restructur- ing attorney with extensive transactional and litigation experience. He has represented clients in large, complex and litigious bankruptcies, as well as strategic transactions utilizing the bankruptcy process to achieve a specified goal. He also has particular expertise in mass tort-related bankrupt- cies, including asbestos bankruptcies. Mr. Bae's clients have included debtors, creditors, senior and mezzanine lenders, as well as administrators of foreign insolvent estates. He regularly advises and represents companies and boards of directors in insolvency situations both domestically and inter- nationally. Mr. Bae received the Burton Awards for Legal Achievement, and is listed in Euromoney Institutional Investor: Expert Guide to the World's Leading Restructuring and Insolvency Lawyers, published by Legal Media Group. He received his J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law, where he served as the notes and comments editor of the Hofstra Law Review, and currently serves as a member of Hofstra's Dean's Advisory Committee.
