Mr. J. Michael Levengood

J. Michael Levengood is a practitioner with the Law Office of J. Michael Levengood, LLC in Law- renceville, Ga., and has practiced law in the metropolitan Atlanta area for 35 years. In addition, he has been an adjunct professor at the University of Georgia School of Law for the past six years, where he teaches bankruptcy law and chapter 11 reorganizations. Mr. Levengood's practice focuses on counsel- ing business clients and helping them resolve their commercial disputes through negotiation, litigation, workouts and corporate reorganizations. He also serves as a chapter 11 trustee and has represented debt- ors in possession, trustees, creditors, receivers and other interested parties in corporate reorganizations, as well as prosecuted and defended a broad range of litigation matters arising in or related to bankruptcy cases in Georgia and in New York, Delaware, California, Tennessee, Florida and South Carolina. Mr. Levengood received his J.D. in 1980 from the University of Georgia.
