
Mr. Daniel D. Sparks
Daniel D. Sparks is a partner with Christian & Small LLP and head of its Creditor & Lender Rights Practice Group in Birmingham, Ala., where he focuses his practice in the areas of bankruptcy and business litigation involving creditors' rights, consumer finance, lender liability and injunctive relief. He represents clients in all aspects of commercial litigation and bankruptcy litigation, loan workouts, loan restructuring, asset recovery, creditor committees, foreclosure and adversary proceedings in bankruptcy. He spends a significant amount of time representing creditors nationally, across the Southeast, and in all of Alabama's courts. Mr. Sparks has been recognized in Chambers USA for Bankruptcy/Restructuring and has been selected as one of the "Top 50 Attorneys in Alabama" by Alabama Super Lawyers in the fields of bankruptcy and creditor/debtor rights, been listed in The Best Lawyers in America in the fields of bankruptcy, creditor/debtor rights, insolvency, reorganization law, commercial litigation and banking finance litigation, and been listed as one of the Birmingham Business Journal's "Best of the Birmingham Bar." He is an American Bar Foundation Fellow, ABI member, a Turnaround Management Association board member and a Southeastern Bankruptcy Law Institute director. Mr. Sparks received his B.A. from the University of Georgia in 1981 and his J.D. from Samford University Cumberland School of Law in 1985.
